UV protection factor 50+ is tested according to the standard EN 13758-1 +A1. The product only protects the skin under it. The UV protection may suffer if the product is very tight, or if the fabric is stretched or wet. Also wear & tear, pool chemicals and saltwater may with time impair the protection;
